Acne Med 2.5

When I determine that a client needs Acne Med, we recommend starting with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. This ingredient gets serious results, but it can be a little harsh. If you need more, we'll  Acne Med 2.5% is the appropriate strength for sensitive, dry, mature skin types. This is the strength that we recommend for rosacea with pustules. Clear skin is on the way!

• Benzoyl peroxide helps reduce the bacteria that cause acne and aids in peeling the inside of the pore.
• Formulated to unclog pores and keep them clear.
• Great for mild acne and acne rosacea with pustules.
• Great spot treatment for problem zones.

Apply a thin layer to the entire blemish-prone area. Leave on for 15 to 30 minutes a day at first and increase wearing time gradually until medication can be tolerated all night. Slight irritation and dryness are normal and temporary.

Do not apply creams or lotions over your Acne Med. This will interfere with the benzoyl peroxide. Using a gel moisturizer, such as Face Reality Skincare Hydrabalance, is fine. If going outside, use a SPF/sunscreen. Allow the Acne Med to dry, then follow the direction in the sunscreen labeling.
